I had three weeks in Mexico and left already two and a half weeks ago and still I haven't done a single post about it... Lazy, that's what I call that so here we go, felt I had to to write at least something and sorry to be repetitive but this will be another one about food. But as you know, food is one of the best things in life!!! This time I will tell you what to eat, not where to eat when not eating tacos in Mexico.
Yep, yet another food post, I must be missing the Mexican food even if I'm fed well at my current location:-) And guess that with this post I can prove that there are other things to eat in Mexico other then tacos! Here is what to eat in Guadalajara...
I spent my last three days in Latin America browsing the streets of Mexico city. Mexico City is enormous by the way so have seen far from everything that is worth seeing. And to be honest, by know you should know that going to every museum and site in a city isn't really for me. But here are three places I visited while I was here. All places are found in the Historic part of the city...
Yes, I finally made it to a beach town.... I spent five nights here in Mazatlan and guess what?! I didn't make it to the beach once, not even to see what it looked like!!! Not sure why but every time i thought I go, I could only think about the sand ending up everywhere and I just couldn't be bothered. I certainly hope this is just a phase and that it will pass because I normally love the beach or is it that I have spent to much time on the beach and now I will dislike it forever??? hahahaha don't think so.... Here is some insight on how one of my day's were not spent on the beach!!!
Apparently there are a ton of things to do in and around San Cristobal Del Las Casas. I didn't do much of them, a lazy traveller as I am... That doesn't mean that I had a dreadful or boring time, I even extended my original planned 3 night stay to a 7 night stay. So what is there to do in San Cristobal except hanging around the hostel with the other people staying there if you lazy???
Hostel booked and ticket for night bus bought, I'm going to San Cristobal Del Casa an easy 13 hours away by bus, felt highly organised, how little did I know that the travel to San Cristobal would be a slight challenge.... Only took pictures of tacos on the trip so the others I have stolen from the world wide web...
I decided that it was time for a career break. So handed in my notice to the company who I worked with for the last ten years. It's time to pack my bag and depart from Amsterdam which been my home town for the last 4.5 years. -"Amsterdam, it's not you it's me and I need a break!". Read more
